That's a tall order. The ones who profit are either executives of companies that push it or the usual beneficiaries of internal corpo-politics, like the managers that were successful in convincing their idiot superiors that the tool will allow them to reduce employment. After several years, studies show that the overwhelming majority of those who implemented it either saw no benefit or actual detriments.

There are plenty of people who profit from AI on here on MD. They collect donations for large scale slop translations.

The biggest profiteer is Nvidia, since up to this point, everyone has had to use their chips.

AI is a scam. It is not profitable unless you're also a scammer. Having a machine trying to imitate a human mind in order to make the latter obsolete is an abomination that should not be allowed.

michael truel and spacex is funny cause elon has a model nobody wants to use and cursor's business model is just varrrious models bundled into one ai app which is under existential threat a la antigravity and the like (as well as having no moat to defend from 18-year olds bootstrapping their product in days)

not to mention every single one of the xai cofounders have ALL been bought out and work at different ai labs now

What i mean to say is that the examples of people "profiting" from ai is in a very real sense all imagined

However the wall st funding money pumping through the labs is very absolutely extremely real dollars in the wallet and not just stock market fuckery

A lot of people online are conflating the two and its a very good litmus test for determining wastes of attn span
