I love the pacing on this manga, though I hope we get back to more slightly longer chapters. Still though yet more reveals, it feels in a natural way like the change Crimson and Ragna have wrought has started to have ripple effects throughout the world which are growing faster and faster, speeding up the pace of things. The other forces aren't all morons who will just wait around like RPG bosses, however careful Crimson has been he still faces the classic core paradox of intelligence services and usage which is that actually making changes always reveals a sign. Famous example, the allies faced this in WW2 after breaking the Engima machine with Ultra. It was incredibly valuable intelligence, but if they simply had their units show up at secret Axis locations and disrupt plans over and over again, the Germans would immediately smell a rate and realize Enigma had been broken. So they couldn't always use it, and/or had to deploy elaborate ruses to convince observers that they were discovering stuff through conventional means.

Crimson is in a race here, the dragons are still stronger in raw power, so he needs them to stay complacent enough, long enough, to build a decisive advantage for his own plans such that when they finally come out he can still win. But the closer he gets the greater the risk of exposure too early.

Excited that we continue getting more peeks and glimmers of the past. I'm still really interested in finding out exactly how this entire thing kicked off in the beginning, and what the ultimate goal of their World Magic is.

As far as Leo yeah it's not like it's not telegraphed given that she's on a giant magic circle like we saw the Silver Armament Corps using for its mass teleportation. Seems most likely it's some sort of special training thing, where someone can be killed over and over again by Gil then get their time reversed or something while keeping their memories. Likely intensely stressful psychologically which would be part of why her first test is simply "don't die in my presence".

Crimson wanting her corpse if she does die (permanently anyway) seems most likely a change wrought by Ragna. Lots of angles there in terms of control, or not having Ragna go crazy or the like. Crimson doesn't seem interested in her right now in terms of her own raw capability, which may or may not end up being something that surprises him.

Three magic circles and three disciples. And we don't see Saix or Nephilim. I have a feeling those magic circles act like respawn spots or something like that. Given how lethal it is to be close to Gilzea it would make sense that she utilizes something to prevent her disciples from dying during training.

Well, hopefully whatever method Crimson has to revive Leo or whatever is an actual revive, and not some "let's make a 1:1 copy and pretend everything's fine".
They did address this in the previous chapter. Their cloning tech is advanced enough to count as a proper revive, barring the issue of replicating the soul (and innate magic).

Sigmalio about to go to Newyork ? Maybe he will be able to know about Ragna from Leo ( but I guess Gilzea will not let him do anything to her, she is the master-type woman after all ). Nephilim will be mad af though.

"Their" being the cult's. The dragon kings may have even more advanced options that actually perfect it, or make it work with sheer raw power. Though it seems they cannot revive their kin. But Crimson obviously has very advanced technology available to him, some of which dates from the modern world maybe another 10-20 years down the line, and has had centuries and tons of magic to further work with it. And there's whatever magic process he uses to achieve immortality so long as his heart is isolated. The others do on various levels as well. So wouldn't be surprising if something along those lines is part of what system Gil is using if that's the case.

Leo is probably fine
…well, probably on the brink of insanity and with some sort of fucked up psuedomagical biology keeping her alive, but that’s not even a hard sell in this manga tbh
super exciting page turn tho
