Seriously, time-stop maybe one of the "most easy to understand" power (unlike King Crimson) but it is actually also one that breaks the most physic laws existed, thanks to the fact that most physics involves t.

Now putting that aside, how about a time-stop variation where even the user is also stopped, save for his consciousness? So the main point of said power is simply to give the user a breather and all the time to devise plan and strategy, just like offline games pause. Is there anything like that?

@Haremmony well, I guess what you suggest is similar to the time acceleration in Accel World (or Fate/Zero), just taken to the extreme limit where time seems to have stopped. But they don't seem to explore the real life uses much in that series since it's mostly about the virtual world.

There is an okay book series where one of the characters (though not a main character) has a stronger variant of that iirc, can't move or change anything but has some way of collecting information during it (forgot the details). Reborn: Apocalypse is the title. Uses it in battle of course but also just to read loads of reports and stuff.

Time-stop that stops everything including the user would be that Rocketjump/CorridorCrew vid. Man dodged bullets and zooks superhot style, but when realized there's too many of bullets, he just stays there and decided to sleep for eternity. Until a sneeze, ofc.
