Ragna is such an anomaly that world sent him a meteor to kill him based in his current power. Imagine if he had the Silver Comet and was at true peak of power.

Idk I feel these guys got heavy jobber/fodder vibes. Lets see what they can do. Better not write them off too fast
Wait wait, No no nonono don't wear those full plate armor you all just weakened your plot armor!
that's been a point of this series from the start, they are fodder who don't have plot armor, but they are still needed to win: like half of them died against bloodline of wings , but if the other half didn't survive, artemisia would have had a comeback victory with time rewind. Our best hope is that Sun Cult being legitimately strong, Sun cult's traitor doesn't screw everyone over too badly. and their better training and equipment means more of them will survive this time

Mech Dragon was talking a big game, but the only reason he managed to corner Ragna anywhere near as well as he did was clearly the combination of Kamui breaking Ragna's sword, combined with Ragna's exhaustion from sealing a Dragon King fragment. Roars have no idea how lucky they are that Ragna can't go full DBZ on their asses, otherwise they'd have probably ended up dropping the whole damn moon in their little stunt.
Ragna wasn't that exhausted from the Bone King's Fragment. And he had the silver comet to help him too.

this chapter should put to rest any doubt about Ragna accelerated aging. he said it himself he grow so much since last time he fought with dragons. and also Ragna visibly taller than Ike now, when previously he was a bit shorter than other adult character

considering the silver armament number is small enough already, hopefully they live up to Crimson standard of being elite soldier. at least i hope they manage to kill one or two high rank dragon. since they actually manage to defeat the likes of ortozhora even before this power up

I had a feeling that the story has been kind of a blur ever since the girl who made silver swords died and then I started thinking about it and shit has been making zero sense ever since that dragon girl who could rewind time and shit died.

Go, Go, Silver Rangers! Looking forward to seeing what they can do after all of their training!
Going to ignore the fact he singlehandedly obliterated a massive meteor!

Thanks for the translations!
Happy holidays!

I seldom comment on this series despite liking it very much because it's all bullshit anyway, so any attempt at a thoughtful comment will be by definition overthinking. There's no there there, so to speak.

But sometimes I just can't help myself, and this is one of them.

The way I see things, this is gonna end with Roars and the Sun Cult teaming up against the Bloodline of Scales. In the process, the Sun Saint will get replaced by Crimson or more likely Ragna.

The reason for that is simple: Sigmalio has set things up in chapter 78.1 so that the war between Roars and the Cult advances the world magic "regardless of the outcome". Meaning, so far he has actually outwitted Crimson: whereas the latter is probably contented that his/her strategy will lead them to victory against another bloodline, the former has ensured that any such victory is Pyrrhic.

So the only way to thwart Sigmalio's scheme is by stopping the war. And I think the key to it is gonna be Chimaera: because Ragna sent her to find Majorca and her mages, she's gonna infiltrate Gehenna. My guess is that she's gonna find them, at a point where the war will have tipped towards the Cult, and then Majorca will tell her their victory plays into Sigmalio's hands. Chimaera will proceed to relay the info to Crimson, who'll change his plans and move to stop the war.

Of course, it's also possible that the war will be prosecuted to completion, and this will bring world magic (whatever that is) to the verge of completion, making the last stretch of the series a race against time.
