The time scale is weird as fuck, are all his sons super immortals? Anyway this is surprisingly decent. The artwork isnt great but its actually surprising that for once the main character acts with some of the dignity you'd expect an ancient sovereign to have. He doesnt fly off the handle, he doesnt act like a sociopath, he doesnt take repeated insults but is also magnanimous when people see the error of their ways. Pretty refreshing to be honest.

One of the better martial arts novels I've read in awhile. 42 Chapters in and it's still got good pacing with Character Development that isn't redundant or just plain stupid to the point of being there for the casual nasal exhales you get from memes. Hope it keeps it's originality too.

Entertaining but low quality manga. Basically going from one cliche to other and forgetting all details (information on where MC get's money, cultivation, etc.). Concept 80,000 years is nonsensical, author himself forgot about it by 15th chapter. Character growth is non-existent.
So basically if you enjoy loop of "You dare to look at me? Die!", "You dare to defend yourself? Die!" or "How trash can be more powerful than me? Die!" every chapter. It is for you.
Other than that, this manga is definitely below average even when compared with stories that have titles with "Super", "Peerless", "System".

This manga needs some serious work everything from that you learned in the first few chapters are unimportant in the author's eyes they're just filler chapters no need to even read them and after the 12th or 13th chapter it just turns into one giant loop seem like the author of the book is ok with being a one trick pony. Not one hint of the author trying to come up with anything new to add to the story just "oh you offended me now i beat you up" over and over again.

see.. this is what i hate about a lot of chinese comics... the conflicts are too flat or 2Dimensional... it's almost always someone in power flexing... why did I even bother reading this?

I blame internet and lack of editorial process. Chinese comic used to be really good, even better that japanese manga in my opinion, and the reason is they are used to be printed comic. Selling a printed comic has a bigger risk, therefore only the really good one get published. But now, with digital publishing, there is almost no risk of publishing any story, the bar of getting published is much-much more lower, resulted in alot cookie cutter low quality story that has no chance getting published if it in the past.

Man, I miss chinese/Hong Kong comic from 1990/early 2000.

The title is missing an important preposition between Reborn and 80,000. Is he reborn before 80,000 years, reborn through 80,000 years, reborn as 80,000 years?

Based on the description, I won't be reading to determine what the important missing preposition is in the title, but I hope the author doesn't leave the readers in suspense for too long.

Yeah, I imagine a lot of these don't even have an editor either. Having an experienced person provide an outsider's perspective of your work can help improve it a lot. I just wonder what's going through these author's minds when they create cookie cutter stuff. Are they just trying to get quick and easy cash, or are they genuinely passionate, but unable to create something original? It reminds me a lot of fan fiction writers who are writing something just to fulfill their own fantasies.

@Turkeyjerkey They create cookie cutter stuff because they lack identity, a cultural identity. If we speak about japanese manga for example, we can see more than hundred year of unbroken history, with alot of different kind of story and genre that give inspiration to the newer generation of manga. While manhua, especially mainland chinese manhua didn't have that kind of history... well, they actually have a longer history of manhua, but it broken when chinese undergoing cultural revolution in 60' and 70'. Now they are in the process of finding their new identity. This is not only happen in the manhua industry, but art in general in china, their movie industry also have this kind of problem.
