Yeah, it's just whether or not you use the full [ル] or not, aye? Since every character in Japanese is a consonant-vowel pair or a single vowel, they use the pairs but drop the vowel sound, especially for loanwords and words from other languages (the former are integrated into Japanese culture, the latter are not, if you wonder the difference).Actually Nergo is also a valid translation, but I opted for Nerugo.
This said, i don't think "Dangeours" is a legitimate translation, unless you're trying to replicate a Cajun accent. ;P
