The previous chapters implied Gray's dad left his family and joined the Confederacy. When he came back years later, Gray shot him without knowing that it's his dad. Gray's mom obviously didnt take it easy and probably shot Gray.

Looks like you were right Doomroar. Owen's way too terrified to raise a finger against this guy and would likely die quickly if he tried.

This is looking pretty dire for Gray and the two kids though.

I'm kinda confused with the chain of command order here. The previous chapter gave me impression that Owen is the posse leader, but now apparently he answers to Greenwell?

@hersheys_031 Owen is the the leader, but Greenwell is Blue's unhinged pet that can't be control by anyone besides Blue, so owen's stuck trying to do damage control.
