Yeah, it definitely feels like a mistranslation. I also don't know why they wouldn't just translate Denki Anma (electric massage). I find it immersion-breaking that the audience would even understand what that is.

I was thinking the same but if the translations is correct maybe its something about him being part of the military and dying in such as place it would not look good for him the invencible warrior with this he at least can say its was a 2vs1 lost.

Dying in the Colosseum would defeat the concept and feeling of death for him (especially since he would be resurrected later), unlike the sense of fulfillment he would get from dying on a battlefield while enjoying the fight of his life (aka., typical muscle-head ideology).
