Hmm, after a fast read, it hurts a little to say this but this adaptation is not well made, this not represents the original source, not because of comedy or art but because of a lot of settings had been altered. it's like you have a new Tesla car, but someone else decided that he wanted to change its color with house paint and put in a gasoline motor, as they say the demon is in the details, and very important details have been let down even in the first chapter, even the characters design is objectively wrong for plot reasons. It's like you have a photo of a serious person and you run Snapchat dog's filter over.

One reason I've no faith in chinese manhua makers, all money, no soul.
All adaptations I havve read tries to hook all kinds of audiences just like how they lolified the girl to hook lolicons or
how they make it comedic when the atmosphere is serious.
They just take whatever, mash it all together and hope it makes sense.

My advice: just enjoy it as though you are eating fast food. There is no real quality about Release that Witch: Inconsistent plot, bullshit MC (how could an engineer know lot of things LOL), one dimensional characters and so on. Oh don't forget too: repetitive plot😂

I guess this is from a novel then? Well I don’t know about all that but I’ll assume the MC ends up victorious at Border Town otherwise it’d be a short comic. I don’t know what to expect but a story about a guy creating a sort of Corp of Engineers and strengthening his newfound homeland would be fun. Imagine this conversation with his crazy murdering pirate sister for example.

@ZeonII Eh, me too. Novel is too boring for my taste and my current mood. The tone is too flat. I don’t know if it is the author or the translators, but there is just something in the storyrelling that makes it so uninteresting and not exciting. I feel like reading a textbook. There is not even a single joke. I stopped reading around 100ish. I read the reviews and they said the novel is awesome. Maybe things develop really well after that but I just couldn’t push myself to continue reading lol..

Only read one chapter and I could not even finish it! Did these people even read the novel? Roland has grey hair which is a signature of the Wimbledon Royal Family and why does Anna look like 13-14 years old?! Never going to read this!

Unfortunately, I have to agree that the manga could of been better in art, plot, layout and character age. But at least to me I love manga so I’m glad they have at least the manga version. But I gotta say, recently I noticed that I started to love reading the novels more then mangas which actually surprised me due to how I love manga. I recommend for people to read the novels first instead of the manga since it doesn’t always follow the story.
