(btw will he tell her the whole plan or just divorcing her and only later say, now, please marry me again) who does he think will do Navier's work in this year? he can't be stupid enough to think that Rashta will be able to do even part of it, or even better, that Navier will still do the work, can he? but since the whole plan is so stupid, maybe he does.
and indeed hooray to Rashta for at least realizing that the difference between a consort and a empress isn't limited to superficial things and that becoming empress may mean to antagonize persons who are friendly to her at the moment

Why would he think a wise and competent woman like her would do his unreasonable bidding?? If anything, he is the one that needed her not she needs him. And there is a reason why all the vassals prefer Navier and why she, an empress in its true sense, is responsible for so many national affairs.

edit: i can’t find any reason why i would want to empathize or sympathize with rashta, no matter how hard i try. she knows fully well what she is doing and how to execute those plans by manipulating or whatever means. i cannot with her anymore. poor navier darling for having sovieshu do that to her. i get he wants an heir and he can’t seem to get that with navier but does he really have to divorce her and marry someone so incompetent? what is she even gonna do for the empire except bring it to ruins? she can’t even freaking think for herself, she has duke ergi telling her what to do, and she acts rashly.
