I know, right? Does he have the "flu" that must not be named? Is Chiiz Wiz going to get Long FTMNBN and Spazuya will become her caretaker? How did he disappear from the train on the next page, is he a ninja?

Or was it intended as a subtle "meaningful" cough, and she looked up because she was scared (BA-DUMP, which I imagine was a doki) someone would catch her in the crime of not being a paid escort?

Thankfully that last one was pretty easy to dismiss. Everyone knows Reiji, subtle, and meaningful don't belong in the same sentence.

I'm reminded of an old MST3K… The characters are on a bus, and for some reason the director thought it was worthwhile to show the bus stop and two unrelated nuns get off. One of the robots whines that instead of the movie, "I wanna watch the story of the nuns going home."

The closest May 17th set in a Tuesday we had was in 2022, so that's when this arc is happening.

If so, then they have another year to live together. On Kazuya's Rental Agreement Form in chapter 314 page 1 we see:

Panel 3:
2023 (then some Moon Runes) and 2025 (more Moon Runes)

So it looks like he signed a two-year lease starting 5/18/2023.
