I get what you're saying, but I don't see these reincarnations like that. It's like the soul is the same, the person is the same, but now they have additional knowledge.I REALLY hope not, because then he's not him anymore. Like, a lot of these past life reincarnation things don't really address the idea of a "soul" or individual personhood, and that if someone else's memory and consciousness becomes present in your mind, even as just a passenger, you're no longer "you" anymore. So if she did fall in love, knowing he was reincarnated, then she always hoped that the current "him" would be overtaken by her past life love, and she never saw him as anything but a temp partner until her former lover supplanted him. Which would be REALLY messed up.
Well even if that is the case his sentiment of wanting her to look at this him is still valid. He may be Atsuhito's reincarnation but that also means he is not just directly Atsuhito. He's a different person with different memories, and even potential for a wholely different personality.Nahhhh dawg you are the reincarnation of that dude.
just assumption
Wouldn't it be fine if you're not hers either?Remember lads, she’s never yours, it’s just your turn 💔
added to your point mate. While i do agree with op, i also agree with your point as well.I get what you're saying, but I don't see these reincarnations like that. It's like the soul is the same, the person is the same, but now they have additional knowledge.
I guess in some cases that can be consuming, but in others it could just be a merger where yeah, you won't be the same, but you'd still be the best version of you. I seriously want to quote a book something similar to this happened in, but I don't even want to spoil it if the possibility of someone here might read it.
The supplanting part could be messed up, or maybe he would never retrieve those memories. She could still love his soul and all the things he still does, even in another life.
