@JWChibi: Showing the items like those jewelry beads didn't have any problem as it was just a kind of forming connections between Royalties. The problem was MC revealing something which wasn't meant to be shown or planned to be shown yet.

@insert_name: The original plan of the Queen was to give no duties to MC, but without meaning to she ends up giving him more work to him (because of lack of Royal family members), because
unconsciously she ends up treating MC as a easy and convenient tool to use who would do everything she asks for without complaining. This point is brought up later in the series as well (which is why i put it in "spoiler")

While they don't want to share important Science-related stuff with the other Kingdom's, they do want to know the price of some safe stuffs which MC brought which could turn into important funding for the Royal Family exclusively (the tax collected is for the Kingdom not the Royal family, so they need their own source of income for personal usage).
MC got blamed here was because he said something which wasn't meant to be said, aka., information relating to Science.

Just reveal it to aura and have her release the info, and kill the cunt calling himself a prince.
And Zenjiro needs to fucking grow a brain. He's supposed to be a fucking adult, how can he not keep his stupid-ass mouth shut?

@Siikalahna: Won't work like that, as even if Aura ends up revealing the information and put the other side in trouble, she would still be in trouble, as the other side only has to reveal that they had initially inform MC about it. This would give the Nobles of that Kingdom a chance to bring down Aura. And she can't kill the visiting Royalties of another Kingdom, when she want to avoid a war (because the previous war had taken a big toll on her Kingdom resulting in her being the only surviving Royal family member).

Also,
everything that Prince is doing is already planned out, and he isn't being idiot, he has goals which he wants to achieve.
Well, alot of the stuff relating to the Prince would be revealed in the upcoming Chapters.

@Morose don't bother to explain. That commenter says that most of the time. Kill this kill that. Not sure if he's trying to troll or be edgy.

I don't understand why they are so obsessed that he would gainn more power as a King, none of it really matters who is holding how much power as they are both sharing that power. Even if it gets to the point where they dont listen to the Queen anymore i would just say as King: " Listen to the Queen without me telling you to do so or ignoring her order was the last thing you ever did" In the end its just shifting power forward and back, as they are a team what does it matter?! in my eyes shes treating her husband more like a potential enemy

the nobles need one of them especially because of the bloodline magic, they cant just replace them either, once the nobles understand they cant use the kings as their puppet they go back wagging their tail to aura

@Morose: I've got the impression that for the Twin Kingdoms delegates being an "obviously foolish" prince and a princess with simpathetic circumstances and disposition towards Zenjiro really suspicious. And now Zenjiro's and that Aura's son catch a fever (fevers are worrisome to babies in the current time, in those times could be life-threatening) during their stay, it feels like it's not coincidence at all. Opinions?

At this point, it seems like the MC shouldn't be left alone with the people from the other kingdom unless the queen is also present. IDC how busy she is, politically this makes no sense. You wouldn't let someone like the MC, with all his information and no ability to keep a secret, engage in political warfare. That's just DUMB.

When I skipped ahead in the light novel
I was honestly pretty disappointed to learn that he ends up marrying another girl. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with harem isekai, but they are a dime a dozen. I'm not sure if they'll show it putting a realistic strain on the original relationship, so I'll probably stick around and see, but I was really hoping the MC could stick to his one selfish request.

They force the MC into politics but then don't send anyone with him to assist with said politics. I like the characters but the CONSTANT threat of political upheaval really dampens any possibility of fun.

@icekatze I think its more of the problem that a king is supposed to have lots of kids even if they are not by his wife. Even if they had only a queen they still live in a patriarch although both sexes for the part we see are treated pretty similar. I have a feeling like a lot of japanese manga, is they want the mc to have some submissive woman which is what Bona seems like even if she is good at her job and hast lots of interest in it. While Aura is strong, smart and I would say very interesting, someone you could always have fun with and someone who challenges you because she wants the best out of everyone

@Flupser aii, where do i even start.

1) The beginning of the manga made it clear that the country is patriarchal, and the only reason why Aura is reigning as Queen is that she is the last surviving member of the royal family which possesses a rare and powerful bloodline magic. This means that her authority is shaky at best, and any marriage to one of the prominent noble families would sideline her in favor of her husband. This is explicitly why she attempted to summon Zenjirou, a descendant of the royal family whom eloped with a princess from another country several hundred years ago, to bypass a politically unfavorable marriage while still maintaining the legitimacy of the royal family.

2) Faction wars. Oooh boy faction wars. Power in the hands of the royal family is inherently less power in the hands of the nobility. Attempting to have Zenjirou actively participating in the ruling of the country or have merit accrued under his name would siphon power, authority and deference away from Aura, weakening her position and giving the nobility more room to throw their weight around. The fact that Zenjirou is not originally of this world is actually a double edged sword as he has no power base of his own. While this leaves Aura's power undiminished, it also makes Zenjirou a perfect puppet if he could be put under the influence of a prominent noble family (taking a concubine, siring a child outside of marriage). Zenjirou gaining legitimacy would lessen the impact of Aura having an "unfortunate accident", and he has no power short of suicide to avoid becoming a king in name only.

3) It literally does not matter that Zenjirou would always defer to Aura no matter how much influence he ends up getting. The fact that he has influence in the first place sets him up as an "option". Succession wars often happen in spite of whatever the successors might personally want since the different noble families have their own opinions of which side would benefit them the most.
It's also not like Aura could just purge the nobility that conspire against her. "Nobility" are a necessary evil to all rulers, as no one family can control an entire country on their own, and attempting to purge one family will inevitably lead to a civil war unless everyone else agrees to join in for a share of the pie.

Thanks for the update, going to have to re-read this, I remember reading this ages ago on mangarock. Are you going to update the other chapters left anytime soon or are you going to take another break? Sorry if this seems rude. @RonBWL Thanks for the update once again.
