@edwardlou that's why I don't understand why the previous chapters people were criticizing him when interacting with nobles and royalty. He has to constantly watch out for every action regardless of triviality and walk around eggshells. He doesn't have any experience. If you obsess over everything you are gonna end up paranoid and if you aren't careful your rivals are gonna get you. It is super stressful.

Because culturally, they don’t understand the idea of a guy being subservient to his wife and someone who could be king actively choose not to. To be fair, thats not too crazy. Male dominance is fairly common in older times due to the risk of giving birth for both the child and the mother. They are also all nobles and therefore, all have varying levels of ambition, so it blows there mind that someone who could easily be king won’t.

IIRC, I think he used the seashells he was collecting earlier. Not sure if they’ll explain it later or this skipped past it. If you ever watched Dr. Stone, its the same idea.
