I think she can more or less see her own future if she looks into the eyes of someone who witnesses her own.
e.g.
She entered the school with Hyuuma who saw her slipping on a can, so she could have avoided it if she made eye contact with they guy and she still had her powers.
She was talking to Lin Lang and Minami before she stepped on a piece of gum, and it was even Minami who pointed that out to her. Either way, Hyuuma was there to see it all happen.

She could probably avoid being attacked by someone from behind the same way. If she's never alone when she goes outside, she will always see her immediate future. Otherwise, she can still see hints of a far future from all the people she sees, and she can work her way around those hints to control her fate.
