I guess they heard complaints about zoomer dialog and decided to shift towards honest-to-goodness actual boomer references.

The "localization" of this manga was always a big trashy mess that's somehow getting worse with each chapter. The dialogue sounds so artificial, perpetually cynic and snarky. Everybody ends up feeling like an egotistic smartass incapable of honest conversation.

Bloody cliff-hangers with an inconsistent release schedule are the worst.

It's BEEN coming out every 2 weeks except for this past month, and we even got told it would be a month and here it is... a month later. I wouldn't say that's inconsistent (just ignore the 3 year hiatus)

Honestly, rather than an alt personality, the way she addressed the guy at the end reminds me more of how Raizen took over Yusuke's body in YYH. Maybe its her father.

it reads like a western comic book, especially with all the random words in bold+italic. this is definitely far from the usual manga translation (especially scanlations) but it isn't bad per se.

Felt like that to me, either a remnant awakened or a more solid and ongoing long distance projection/possession. Hopefully it's a remnant that Ruri shall conquer and purge in order to regain control
