This adventurer's guild must have an extreme oversupply of adventurers and not enough jobs if they can charge what at least sounds like a lot of money just to enter the guild. Sounds like a scam, frankly, considering they are also gonna be charging commission on all quest rewards. I'll give them props for having a rank placement test when you join, though. Virtually no isekai/fantasy manga have this and it makes no fucking sense whatsoever considering access to quests is usually based on what rank you have and quests are based on difficulty. So if you have a really strong new adventurer, they're not even allowed to do quests appropriate for their level but instead they gotta fuck around collecting herbs and carrying shit for ages and trudge their way up the rank ladder before they can actually put their skills to productive use. And the best part is that nobody in the guild (or otherwise for that matter) has ever even considered the possibility that not every new adventurer is equally weak, so when they do run into an F-rank adventurer who is actually as strong as an A- or S-rank one (such as the OP protagonist for example), everyone's minds are completely blown. It's so dumb, and it happens pretty much every single time.

It's a little late but I do have mixed feelings over how the story approached the "weak healer" problem without any creativity or cleverness. The solution this story offers: Just quit being a healer and become a swordsman! Problem solved!

I'm not well-versed in the value of money in this universe, but 250,000 GOLD for registering sounds awfully expensive. Extortionate, even. Now Eldora is technically in debt to the guild and they're cleverly shaving off fees from her future rewards until the debt is paid.

For such a sly guild they do seem like they don't have things under control regarding adventurers. It's not a good sign to see some cocky blowhards able to threaten staff so confidently. I can only wonder at what kind of crap that sleazy prick has gotten away with.
