I feel like this fight is the end of the manga, even though I know it won’t end until it gets canceled. An enemy that scales it’s power up to SSS or someshit. Whats the next enemy? Generic thug? SSSS level threats? Slice of life? Is he going to make pancakes next? Is he going to kill god with the power of friendship waifus? The fight itself is pretty boring and typical. The only saving graces were the reaction shots.

That's an unfortunate thing in some of these web novel adaptations where they spend too long building the setting which is supposed to the base for the rest of the story. So they end up finishing with only the introduction arc done.

People seem to confuse this for a revenge story because of how it started. To the MC, those people are complete after-thoughts, he's only concerned with proving himself to the childhood friend.

The story is really more about a dude obtaining dragon powers and learning how to use them.
