I feel like this fight is the end of the manga, even though I know it won’t end until it gets canceled. An enemy that scales it’s power up to SSS or someshit. Whats the next enemy? Generic thug? SSSS level threats? Slice of life? Is he going to make pancakes next? Is he going to kill god with the power of friendship waifus? The fight itself is pretty boring and typical. The only saving graces were the reaction shots.

I think it's more the one final look at each other and knowing they will be broken and destroyed, even if Dion turns the other cheek to a degree. It's like in the Cinderella story Ever After when Danielle, the Cinderella figure, tells her stepmother after marrying the Prince, Danielle will never think on the woman again but is certain she will never forget Danielle.

One thing I appreciate on this manga is that Dion didn't became an insta-OP "isekai-protag". Sure, he got his power-up but had to put at least some effort on controlling it and actually learn to fight on those power levels, and it shows on this chapter as well as the previous one with the guildmaster.
