i told you (in previous chapter) this is the perfect time to do flashback. the reader obviously would know dion would save the day. but the flashback is necessary to make the fight's goal clearer first because it was murked by reader can't get a true insight of the fight's purpose.

if the flashback would come out later the reaction to the flashback would just be "oh okay". if it was in the middle of the fight (when trading moves) it would ruined the good fighting flow.

More point for the flashback to be short and simple. it can be better if the artist don't make the grandma's face censored. just why? there is no urgency to not know his grandma. if that was just for mystery plot, it's not attractive since there was no relevancy before this. it would be better if the artist just don't draw grandma's body at all

So did I. I was actually ready for it. I 100% thought this would be where Dion has to fill in the shoes of Yuki since it seems since the 4 stooges tried to break up the fated duo, the universe corrected itself by having Dion meet Eldora. With a new fated duo in Dion and Eldora, Yuki would serve no purpose anymore. Hence why she has sorta been withering away in the background.
But maybe with their reunion, it will become a fated trio?
