[Not a Spoiler, things that are not explained in the Manga based on the WN]

Well, there are still many who do not understand Hyce's abilities.

His ability level is Master which allows him to quickly find out the mechanism, strength and how to use the weapons used.

The power of the weapons summoned and used by Hyce is strengthened (in terms of attack power and explosion) from the original weapon.

His weapon's ammunition is unlimited.

The attack and explosion effects of the weapons used by Hyce have no effect on Hyce (for example, if he uses a missile or grenade on himself he will not be hurt) only affect other creatures besides himself.

The number of types of weapons increases over time when he explores the mechanism of his weapons (there is an ancient book left by Nobunaga, a human from Japan who helped him).

When his abilities evolve not only handle weapons, all types of tools and combat vehicles from Warships, Fighter Planes, Helicopters, Tanks and others can be summoned and used. How great is our MC's "Weapon/Gun Master" skill ;)
I say the last couple part is a spoiler-worthy, though.

Really hope we get SOME explanation about how he's learned, on his own with no teacher, how to shoot rifles etc. with one eye. Like, it's something you can do, if you learn the right techniques and practice them a ton, but they will probably just ignore it. Still, of all the permanent scars to give a firearms using guy, to take out one of his eyes and then never address it. It would be like making your MC a master swordsman, with one arm, and never addressing it.
I can answer that. It's not a spoiler, it's a cut content. At the beginning with his ex team, just before he got exiled they found a book in the dungeon. He has it on him when he left, that book is a sort of gun encyclopedia written in Japanese. MC who is interested in foreign language and culture, partially decipher it. The book explain each weapon he can uses and how to do it.
The book was written by a Japanese guy that got Isekai and got the same ability. MC is probably a descendant of this guy, but nothing is sure.

thanks for the chapter!

I'm glad Hyce wasn't a total ass and just ignored her as I was afraid he'd do. he actually talked! ^_^
yes, just because he WALKS ALONE doesn't mean he can't talk to people

well there isn't any bad blood, i think the only person he won't really talk to is sasha or any of his former teammates which is completely right, those person don't deserve to be in his life anymore,
spoiler:
He would and he does. If they talk to him he would talk normally, maybe spit some nasty words about his banishment. And they would bring up the topic as well. You need to understand that their strained relationship is completely on them. If they actually tried to become friendly with him this issue would've been solved a long time ago, but they put 0 effort. And yes, taking into consideration they banished him and abandoned him when he was recovering from injuries caused by Sasha's negligence, it is on them, not on him to go begging to be friends again.

Well I guess this is where it stops being interesting in any way and turns into generic demihuman waifu power fantasy slop

That wasn't cut, but it was only implied instead of layed out exactly. It definitely addressed him learning about guns, but again, having a single eye and being a firearms focused adventurer is a BIG DEAL and it's just really weird to not mention how he managed to do it. Would have been a fantastic opportunity to show his struggles and resolve.

I can't speak for other people, but I actually quite like being spoiled as to what's going to happen, not with just this title, or even just with comics, but with most things in general.
I enjoy seeing how the author builds thing up to plot point I was spoiled on, I also like not having to wait around pondering what will happen.

Though I know I'm a rare breed. I get that the majority of people don't like being spoiled, but I don't get how people can stand the wait to find out what happens, when they don't have to? I guess it bothers me more than it does others. :thonk:
Perhaps I'm just impatient?
Oh, look, someone else besides me who is more interested in the HOW of a story and less in the WHAT. Let's found a club and then be sad nobody else joins us, ok? :ROFLMAO:

And yes, when I like a story, I usually read the last pages of a book first before I continue with the rest. I did this for most of Asimov's books, for the Stormlight Archives books, even a bit for the Sun Eater series and many more. But I did not do it for Wheel of Time, I just enjoyed reading, having already an idea how it would end, as it has been foreshadowed.

Oh, wait, we're in a manga forum! Well, erm, I also tend to read spoiler posts about all kinds of manga, LNs and anime I am reading/watching, especially here in the forums. It's fascinating to see.

I'm definitely the same way, I prefer to know in case there might be developments I like or don't like in the future. And if it's something I really like even if the events leading up to it are spoiled, actually seeing how it pans out for yourself is so satisfying.
I only regretted doing this once and that was when I read spoilers about the Bunny Senpai movie, you know, the one with the twist. I almost stopped watching it when I noticed the story going in this direction.

There's a second occurrence of this, but it's unrelated to manga: Once I read a hilarious shitpost summarising the entire Wheel of Time story, just after I started reading the first book, which is, to be honest, very slow and could make Reiji with his RAG crap jealous. It took me five years to pick up where I left off (fun fact: I actually remembered even the exact word where I stopped five years prior) and I then finished the story in a few weeks. I didn' regret it.

I feel that the manga underplays many of the most desperate aspects of the elf.
IN the WN when Hyce is being resistant to her following(even after learning she needs to gather moongrass for her sister) she offers more than just money, aka to be his "bed companion" for the nights during their travel.
Somehow I think this is the Japanese Mangaka altering her character due to the Japanese readers obsession over female characters retaining their virginity....even though it might be an elf that has lived for many decades already.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say what it most likely is, is the writer wanted to tone some things down for the story to make it flow better, especially with how this is being released

Not only that, he's right handed and he's missing his right eye.

Not that everyone shoots and aims the same way. My brother back in Indiana is right handed but SHOOTS left handed while aiming with his right eye. That doesn't stop him from getting his deer. He's complained about getting hot brass down his shirt when shoot semi-auto handguns though.

Don't just assume that if something APPEARS to be skipped or cut content that it really is. The mangaka may be rearranging the story a bit.

When I saw that I was an engineer in my late 50s and I broke down sobbing.

Don't read spoilers for Clannad if you haven't watched that one...

They did explain it. His ability is "Weapon's Master." Mastery isn't dependent on how many eyes you have. He's skill compensates for everything as long as he's capable of welding it. I wouldn't be shocked if he lost both eyes and his skill let him operate like Daredevil. He'd have to lose both arms, because if Green Arrow can fire a Bow with one arm, I'm pretty sure MC here could fire a bazooka with one arm too.

Honestly, it was the most emotional reaction I ever had watching or reading a series, so, I guess, well done, author! And I really mean it, that's no sarcasm.

Yes, I know roughly what happens in Clannad, but I still need to watch it for the details and the "how".
