I wonder if the liquid parts of the failed potions are affecting Sora in any way. Maybe it'll become a little bit tougher? I got the impression that broken slimes are so fragile they'd have max HP in the single digits if this were a game. Less than 5, even.

For all the oppressive atmosphere and danger in the first few chapters, I'm kind of relieved at how relatively peaceful this has become. Snakes are still dangerous, but she knows how to catch them safely.

i somewhat enjoy this but i mostly pity the mc since the manga that i usually read have good family dynamics or at least they have a house to call home but she don't have both. i don't know if i can even handle this story since i mostly stay away from sad to depressing stories

I’m assuming since this is a manga with a Monster tamer that the reason why the broken slime can digest potions will not be explained, so imma just say that it could always dissolve potions but because it’s acidic(?) ability was so strong it started to break down and turned into a broken slime.

Also the thing about the monster tamers is because most mangas with monster tamers just have “I tamed the weakest creature and then it turned out to be the super ultra omega big balled overpowered godlike Fridge demon!” and give no further explanation
