Reaction here seems about 50/50 on him leaving the previous party. Personally, I liked it .

• Other party was very mixed personalities... It worked for them, despite their differences. That's fine.
• MC is more solo type. Can solo fine and just doesn't want hassle of dealing with extreme personalities. Also fine.
• So MC is basically, "Not for me. GL HF."
• Incidentally, MC's skill essentially guarantees drama with any internally competitive party. Which means that there are few parties that he would fit into anyway.

why not? help, get a punch in the face for you trouble, not worth the hassle, and he only use a lvl 1 spell. And it's not exactly the first time, more like the second or third (first time being his school, second his parent)

Leaving that group was a totally rational and level-headed decision, however deciding to never form a party again because of that one happenstance is a little overreacting, although he's doing just fine on his own and doesn't need help so it's not exactly a big loss either.

IIRc, the manga is doing things out of order, and possibly skipping material. them meet in ch 47.

The LN changed some stuff by compacting them (basically removed alot of the "filler" from the WN), so Volume 1 could cover alot more, which goes from Prologue to Chapter 100 story wise (end of WN Arc 3), beside adding a newly written story for the LN
