It's honestly pretty boring how stereotypically trashy these other kids are. Them just being there to prop up the MC makes both less interesting. I also don't understand how the school makes such a big deal about these kids being dangerous but doesn't do anything about their awful personalities (clearly they need a resident therapist at least).
The group being genuinely kind (or even just average level decent) people willing to keep the MC's secret wouldn't win any awards but it'd at least save time and not make characters that only exist to be hated and waste panels upon panels being needlessly antagonistic. Alternatively them actually being strong enough to handle the threat and this just serving to teach the MC the process of handling these missions (and maybe grow his friend circle) would have been welcome too.

I got major Joker vibes (if Joker became a reality bending demon... which has happened in DC comics) and I loved it.This Demon Lord is pretty damn creepy. Good job author!
