I come off far more assholeish in text then I do irl, however my point does stand, everyone is looking at him like he used his position to get into the academy, and as far as she knows at this point, he is everything she despises about nobility.

as for condescending, it's only really that way if you take it that way, I tend to see most people stop thinking at the surface level of any encounter instead of trying to figure out why that encounter happened that way.

@Hollow7F to be fair she's right if he was a commoner even with his talent he won't be going to the magical academy cause well he doesn't have any he got in thanks to his family recommendation . similar to his slave friend even with her talent nobody would notice it if MC wasn't nice to her.

he's probably still be fine tbh as an adventurer he'd actually get his "carefree life" by not going to school and just adventuring maybe he could have been a farmer with his commoner family and be chill.

Okay, so just going off Ch.1 we can assume that the Commoner girl is the Demon Lord, right? I mean so far with how everything else is the MC would be the Demon Lord since he was from the Demons territory but I sort of find that too on the nose xD

That chapter opening artwork of the cart heading to the walled city on that "road" really really bothers me. First, it looks more like a dry creek bed than an actual road. Then, the width of the thing. It's literally only wide enough for a single cart or wagon. And the way it looks like a depression, it seems like it would be a total bitch to try and get off the road to make way for another vehicle.
Sorry if I'm nitpicking something others don't find very important, but come on man! Pay attention to details a little more, mangaka!
