yep shota has the curse skills to try to f*ck with the lich, but it's more probably than it wouldn't work

I think MC skill stacking to make pseudo new skills will be the answer. Or it might be a perception issue, this does seem pretty much like it'll be outside of his perception.

It's honestly an interesting skillset to deal with and I could only see MC needing to engage with the big bad. He's built up a new skillset and needs to develop it. Let's hope it's interesting.
