I am always confused why his mom lets the door be closed…
I know they’re both of legal age (technically. 20 is the more-socially-acceptable age over there, but they’ve been together for a while, so I doubt anyone would give a shit about a one year lag, but it would avoid awkwardness.
Also, is it just the result of Jewish vernacular seeping into English in general with the “…he says”?

I remember having one or two “oh, yeah. my girlfriend‘s parents are in the next room. Whoops.” In my early 20s.
Iguess they’re living that “young people honeymoon phase” life!
Does his mom have a job? I don’t remember. Nice house for single-income if not.
Point is, when do they find the time, usually?!
My girlfriend’s parents just didn’t care, and I slept over like 2-3 days a week. They really liked me. (I borked that, but it would have broken down eventually, anyway. She was straight…)
I don’t want it to be addressed, but I am curious if Miyano ever has the “switch and not-switch” thing of “I wish things could reverse sometimes“.
