@TheDocperian Yeah, I think they do that with this sort of adaptation specifically so they can get the attention of people who might like particular character designs. The manga adaptations for harem novels generally have like the whole basic harem laid out in at least one piece of art in the first volume for example. That's definitely a genre that's made or broken by the interest in the cast designs after all. Similarly, something like this one kind of banks on cuteness to make their sales, so getting that fox on the cover before its introduction was probably a bit of marketing I suppose. Like you said, you're still excited to see it show up.
