@Riger
You're kind of exhibiting the sort of thing I was talking about. You made a bunch of assumptions there that automatically puts down essentially anyone who might be opposite of the MC. No one should compare to him in power, and anyone who could out-think and out-plan him and his power shouldn't really exist and is automatically arrogant and thus will be entirely unsuccessful because how dare they be smart and proud.
If that's the case, might as well drop the book. There's a good way to write OP MCs, but if it ever turns out how people seem to want it to, then it is actually a failure of a story with no staying power or longevity. Might as well just be a beat-'em-up fantasy rag where the audience can self-insert coattail-ride the MC's obviously-assured victory because there's no stage where someone can challenge them on without having an extremely similar power set or strength origin (cliche mirror match). Likewise, anyone challenging OP MCs with intelligence instead of punching matches is always immediately looked down on unfavorably despite that an OP MC is the MC and never really loses, thus being arrogant and using their power as a crutch instead of being believably well-rounded.
So, hopefully this story doesn't turn out like that at all!
