The ending was a little weak, but not bad. At least Mao/ Yuusha are setup for a continuing relationship. Though I'm not sure if I'd trust the faries to regulate the world...

It wasn't a huge climax, but Sekai Maou was never about huge climaxes. It was understated, funny, and whips out those deep OH CRAPS for maximum effect.

Even the last demon lord got his due, all the tears.

I’m feeling a little unsatisfied... The beginning was good as it kinda set the later part for something climatic but at the end all we get is a explanation on why stuff happen. Even when God tell them that the world hasn’t changed yet, human are accepting demons as if it’s commonplace. I feel like the author had much more plan for the story and I can somewhat see how the protag would develop had it gone a more dramatic route. Though I guess this ending is fine, It’s cute and the everyone got happy ending hoo-ray.

I would love a one-shot of "God, the Human" though. That insert page is a LOT to take in.
