Metal gear GANDER was from the non-canon gameboy color game Metal Gear Ghost Babel. I have no idea why it was named that, as it seemed like a crappy metal gear Rex knock-off until you find out about the satellite uplink and nuclear satellites, potentially making it the most dangerous in the series.

So... you mean to tell me that in a world where magic is fairly important, and magic is cast based on a very small handful of 36 words, that nobody in their entire history has bothered to conduct a simple pattern analysis to determine what the words actually mean?? This is just too dumb.

Well, he does say you need 3 special numbers to specify the metal; relative weight, melting point and atomic weight.
Really don't know how you'd get those without modern technology. And even then, it's scale-dependent (e.g. most countries in our world use Celsius, but maybe, the fantasy world uses something different, maybe even Farenheit!!!!).
I think the author was trying to get at, it's hard to spot the pattern without isekai knowledge (and to begin with who tf remembers atomic weights and crap anyway).

I'm a highly skilled assassin, which means I have memorized the sum total of Earth's knowledge and also have a masters in theoretical physics, down to the fucking atomic weights and beyond

@NazrinMaus Masters in theoretical physics? No, you just need high school chemistry. Anyone with a pretty good memory (not even photographic memory) can memorize the attributes of the most mentioned elements.

Oh great, guns, those always give isekai adaptations loads of tension.

God, I hate power creep in stuff like this.

> He used magic pretty much to "procure materials" and "shape materials". Fire magic was to replace gunpowder blast.

So make the same magic on the opposite side and you balance out the force, pretty easy 😀Newton first law y'all
Check out the Karl Gustav, simple and very mobile. With magic it's even more OP.
