@me474: You are making a lot of assumptions about the practicality of her
current magical abilities in an actual battle, her current reserve of magical energy (and regeneration rate), and the combat and magical capabilities of the noble-aligned forces.
Oh, and also, she's a fucking
child who has never trained for life-or-death fights or to kill people; it's very likely that at this time, even if she's facing imminent death/rape/abduction, she'd have a very hard time actually mustering the will to kill another human being. I expect that she will by the end of this event, but she will break down from the trauma like she should... and then after Lugh takes her away to live under a new identity, he can start training her in how to apply her talents for
killing people, since she probably will want revenge on the nobles for not only their dastardly rebellion, but for killing her father, many of her family's subjects and retainers, and attempting to abduct her to monopolize her magical gift for themselves.
