well we are used to shizuko being the mary sue she is i suppose lol and its fine that way, but id like it if she remembered wrong at times, cuz its simply impossible to not forget, even more when she cant take a look in a book or on the internet to freshen up her memory x)

also, something that always bothered me in isekai with mc having scientific knowledge is how they take all the fucking credit for themselves when they did nothing but learn it at school
if your incredible memory remembered everything, it surely remembers who was the inventor lol dont fucking say vaccin is your idea and credit at least Pasteur broooo TT
anyway, thats just me venting but this manga clearly deserves 10 stars for the execution and drawing <3

Because she was trained extensivly in this field by her grandparents I think her family knows about their time travel ability and teach them all this shit.

I mean her uncle joined her in going back so theirs that so they know the trigger in going back. Pretty sure they can return anytime Uncle just has a goal before he let her return just an assumption though.

I dont think Shizuko and Oda wish to annex neighbouring region, Japan (excluding Ryukyu Kingdom/Okinawa) imperial tendencies began in Toyotomi Hideyoshi (Kinoshita Tokichirou) government.

Tbf knowledge about quarantines and healthy eating aren't exactly complicated. It's just revolutionary for those in the past because they don't know the background behind it. Heck, I'm no doctor and even I know what to do if I get sick, especially with an infectious disease like measles or other variations of pox.

Take for example, washing hands. Nowadays, we all wash our hands to get rid of germs and it improves our health fantastically. But if you were in the past, people would just laugh at you. Something so simple and obvious now is crazy to think of in the past.

You don't have to know exactly how it works (me not being a doctor and obviously not an expert in virology). You just have to know what works and use that.

About MC knowledge in illness, it is possible that she has learn in her highschool. You will be surprised on how much we asian student has to learn for each class. In history class we may learn about this pandemic and how it end, in science class we might learn about where or how you can find which vitamin. Not to mention that her grandpa friends that specialized in their own field has come to visit her granda very often, she must have learn thing or two from them for sure.

I feel mostly the same with the technology cheat in any manga lol. Most of the time, it annoys me enough that I drop the series because of it unless they got an alright reason for it (e.g. Jin's MC being an established doctor and Dr. Stone's Senku having an extreme interest in science and working for it step-by-step).

This story makes up for it with heart and a lovable MC, though.

Initially Akechi never expressed any dissatisfaction over Shizuko. In fact, he was cordial and respectful to her whenever they interacted. The author only now decided to make Akechi have reservations about her. It's not a huge issue but it does bother me.

I actually don't think a vaccine is a good idea. MC clearly doesn't have the medical background to spearhead this, but she's put her name on the line for something that's going to boil down to throwing some doctors at the problem.

The 30% in the Fiji was also the very first time they came in contact with the disease, and the worst recorded in japan was between 8-12%, with 4-6% being the norm for the untreated case and 0.1-0.2% for the modern standard...

He still had some reservation when he first met her as well. However, it's merely of her methods and results gives him pause (rather than herself as a person), as they're considered unorthodox for most within their era. For example, when Nobunaga had a distaste for the food that was served in the capital, Mitsuhide couldn't comprehend the reason as he saw nothing wrong with the food. When Shizuko showed up and told him that she had a solution, Mitsuhide automatically assumed that Shizuko would prepare a meal even greater than the capital's. However when he had saw that she had prepared meal that Oda was used to, Mitsuhide had a doubtful expression until Nobunaga tried the food and expressed his satisfaction.

It's similar to this. Mitsuhide didn't show any disapproval or doubts, even when Shizuko told him about the outbreak, and instead opted to act quickly at her command. It wasn't until she detailed her plan that Mitsuhide showed his doubts and disapproval. Which amplified he learned that Shizuko opted to share similar plans of handling the outbreak with even enemy lords.

Yeah that's unlikely to come from just poor medical practices. You'd have to add on top a deliberate avoidance of MC's techniques, general wartime poverty, and Nobunaga secretly aggravating the spread of disease.

With thorough analysis on how it would ensue, it would be pretty cool. Right now it's good because it's her knowledge of real events is satisfying for the reader, but as soon as we diverge from history, I'm afraid it would lose it quality
