If she can make telescopes, she can make convex/concave lens. If you can make suitably clear convex/concave lens, you can make suitably clear flat lens with no grade. The glasses are just a frame fitted for someone's head, you don't even need hinges. The majority of technology that goes into making frames for glasses is in reducing weight, increasing flexibility, and improving quality of life for long-term usage. None of those things are important for a one-off gag indoors.

I wasn't really thinking about the lack of soap since we've already seen them in the series, but more about medical emergencies such as a tear forming. Like of course it could happen on the front side as well, but the back side is filled with much more infectious bacteria.

I sort of misspoke when I said hygene instead of medical knowledge, so that's on me.

We have discussed about this several times over several chapters, at this point it's like Tsuruhime's existing is a sin for them. It is annoying, there is no point. What? To gloat they are the better person? No, more likely THEY are the pedo.

We are here to see how far Shizuko can fuck up the future. Oda is likely to win, the Christians probably can legally preach soon, advanced the technology and now there is a whole new bloodline with a man from the future. Perhaps solved Japan birthrate problem way back by telling people to accept their daughters, not just male heirs.

We already have pages of discussions about her, give it a rest already. I have to deliver this beating myself so they shut the fuck up. Be media literate instead of bending everything "ohhh this is bad". No wonder everything sucks lately, so bland, everyone follows the safe template.

Huh, bringing in OBGYN education to the past... thats both a very good idea, but kinda funny to only have it come up now that an important character is involved.

Age gap fuckin' sucks. S' gross. I'm willing to shrug because I like the story otherwise but it fuckin' sucks. The author could have chosen to write shit different; didn't. Coulda had the guy who wanted to repay him have an older daughter who didn't get married for x or y reason, have him ask to marry her instead, showin' as a modern dude he doesn't mind (a previous marriage/injury/her being plain/whatever). Hell have a woman who was considered one of these 'barren women', then the OBGYN stuff'd be relevant.

Such It Do in the wild and wooly world of fiction.
