I can't figure out Natsumi. It seems like she has a crush on Futaba but isn't willing to act on it. At the same time she has said that Yuuta is just as important to her as she is.

I'm confused. This manga doesn't seem like it would have anything like a love triangle.

I was thinking that she might be scared of losing her relationship with both of them if she tries to move forward but doesn't she know that Yuuta loves her? Maybe she thinks that is a passing teen crush and doesn't want to get to close to protect her from being hurt when he moves on?

With this chapter alone, it's as confirmed as it can be, without being spelled out directly. Otherwise, the whole dialogue makes no sense. And the fact that the conversation is given a whole chapter also makes no sense. Unless the author yuri-baiting the readers, but then it's not on us that we can't figure it out.

How does this whole dialogue not make sense? it's two best friends making pretty average girl talk. She's just gaging out to force progress for her friend who is having a hard time. If you are getting Yuri baited, you are baiting yourself. The author posts all sort of non canon stuff online outside of the manga, so that's also not a real source in this case.


My guess? Natsumi will tease Futaba by creating a scenario where she believes that she is going to miss her chance to confess, in order to get her to do it, or at least try more. I don't know what chapters you've been reading, but they clearly aren't the same ones as me.

I am aware that this Author has drawn NSFW. It's not entirely uncommon for primarily digital authors to do so. I agree that I think it's just flights of fancy. The author wanted to draw Yuri, there are only a handful of characters to choose from. If all of the fanbox shit was canon, everyone would be full on harem sluts.

Playing devil's advocate here, but Natsumi asking Futaba "well what would you do if the person you liked turned out to like someone else" right when Futaba came to her for love advice MIGHT be interpreted as "I like you and here you are, asking me to support your love for someone else"
