I think he just doesn't like the idea of Class D didnt have a single student dropout or a retry. Especially since Class D still have students who are underperformed by standard, plus the team work during the exam. The Principal really wants to screw over Class D, huh?
It makes you wonder if compared to previous Class Ds, the performance of this year's Class D is so abysmal that the Principal wants them all expelled.
With how he has an affinity with monsters, I'm gonna guess it's less "who" he is and more "what" he is. I'm assuming he's some flavor of not-human, whether that means he's secretly a witch (meaning they're not as wiped out as people think they are), or some kind of demon (I forget whether this manga's setting actually has demons or not).Thank you for your hard work!
I love this series.
Wonder who is Nagisa actually is
She only appeared briefly during the midterm arc. I think she interacted with Totori the most. Out of the 12 students, Caitlin is also the only one who hasn't been covered yet in the omake character introduction.I just can't remember it very well, does the second seat student, this Caitlin gal, ever showed up even once? Like does she has any interaction with other students in the previous chapter?
Pretty sure Pannie also hasn't been covered. She only appeared briefly during the midterm arc. I think she interacted with Totori the most. Out of the 12 students, Caitlin is also the only one who hasn't been covered yet in the omake character introduction.
Oh yeah, you're rightPretty sure Pannie also hasn't been covered.
Ah yeah. Just double checked and she did appear, but she didn't give the vibe of problematic students like the rest of the class so she kinda forgettable. She only appeared briefly during the midterm arc. I don't think she's about "let's just have fun", since that'd overlap too much with the mask kid's shtick (the summoner). From what we've seen of her, she's a musclebrain power-type, so she's probably more just about "all that matters is the practical power to do what's needed, book smarts don't matter".Ah yeah. Her trope prolly about 'magic should be fun and not all about statistics.'
Yeah you prolly right. She would be too similar with Pannie. But i still feel like if she's a muscle brain one, shouldn't she at least be at c or b. Somehow Caitlin reminds me of that class rep from F Class from Baka To Test.I don't think she's about "let's just have fun", since that'd overlap too much with the mask kid's shtick (the summoner). They mention that before the midterm exams, basically just that they're both extremely bad at in-class work (and that Caitlin would be B/A if it was just practicals being graded), just that Pannie has bad grades because he doesn't care and Caitlin has bad grades because she's bad at theory.Yeah you prolly right. Man, i really remember Pannie being in dropout class for just having fun. I wish she has more air time. Even Nagisa with few air time manage himself to be memorable. They mention that before the midterm exams, basically just that they're both extremely bad at in-class work (and that Caitlin would be B/A if it was just practicals being graded), just that Pannie has bad grades because he doesn't care and Caitlin has bad grades because she's bad at theory.
She might be C/B if she was only moderately bad at book work, but if she just gets flat-out zeroes on half of the grading criteria that's probably a good way to get into a low grade even if she's good at practicals.
Or maybe he's conspiring with some people behind the scenes who want class d expelled or killed. The Principal really wants to screw over Class D, huh?
