Here's the thing about that, Madelines are normally made with wheat, her students only used rice flour because they knew about her allergy


However he didn't know that the students made a variant that she could safely eat, he didn't even know they got switched for normal Madelines, keyword here being "normal"


Even tho it wasn't her fault, I get why he would react that way, cause he knows that Madelines are normally made using wheat, so in his mind he's basically saying "if you're well aware that you're allergic to wheat....THEN WHY TF DO YOU WILLINGLY EAT A PASTERY THATS LITERALLY MADE FROM THE STUFF???"
