I thought the new character was going to be a tomboy and I was excited for the arc to pick up. Turns out it's an emotional gay guy, and I'm still equally excited.

Very excited for this arc.
There's been a lot of manga touching the issue of sexual identity and gender roles in Japan and each one has been looking at it from different perspectives.
Very excited to see where the author is taking this.

I've never been into Boys love, I don't mind the genre but I have never found one that was a good read.
I don't might taking suggestions though. But hopefully the author can handle the genre better than most.
But I feel like it will be un uphill better for the author considering how they wrote the previews arcs.

Thanks for the translation Tanzanite Scans

The new guy looks almost identical to Kaede... yeah, very cute.

Asahi comes off as very aimless and flippant in his approach to relationships. I expect this encounter will make him care more deeply for someone... oh who am I kidding this is Sensitive Boy, it's going to open the floodgates of past trauma and be very messy.

"not into bl so im going to drop it out" you people cant even endure something like Sexuality Discovery & Homosexuality as one of the themes? this is literally A character discovering/exploring his sexuality. have you guys even read the authors note?
anyway i think you people should just explore different relationships in fiction if you cant handle a gay guy lol read some good bl or some shit
if you are going to drop it then why even comment here

I'm looking forward to seeing how the author handles this. It's a difficult topic that is far too often fetishized, but they've done a commendable job so far with other ones.

I don't know what Hololive fans you've been interacting with, because the ones I know are nothing but accepting. I know multiple gay and trans people in the Hololive fandom and never seen any of them treated poorly because their sexuality within the fandom. So maybe it's best to not generalize a fandom consisting of millions of people.

Honestly I could see this guy just ending up being demi or ace and not understanding his own lack of attraction to people, leading him to believe he has a generalized attraction to everyone at a lower scale. That's how I was/am, anyway. I still go by bisexual, because I have the capacity for attraction to either, but it takes so much for me to feel attracted to anyone.
