However as they are still young, they both might not be able to handle such a topic in the correct manner; leading to us misreading the situation as something ominous.

It's a really interesting read. There is this constant feeling of incongruity. Like two sides not matching together. The events are just generic romance, but it's also so tense that it feels like it might explode at any time. Very weird, slightly uncomfortable feeling.

He is obviously bottling up again. She is sus as hell, but I have no idea in what way.

His friends are the absolute best though.

I'm really curious about where will it go. Can't wait for more.

Yep bad, I don't really think she's ill intended, I think that she (as a lot of women) think that men can't be raped, she does this from a place of inexperience, I don't know what reaction was he really expecting or what reaction could have she had but is clearly this one is the wrong one.

Again I'm willing to give her the benefit of doubt because she looks like your regular JK, thing is, our poor MC can't do regular (figuratively speaking).

I think this is meant to emphasize how dismissive people are of male victims. Interesting portrayal by the author, tho it's clear something is off about this girl lol. Perhaps she sees this relationship as a way to check off boxes, ie say she has a boyfriend, kiss, have sex etc. She doesn't see him for him. The series is moving quite fast so I think we'll see trouble sooner than later.

was really hoping for some drama and not just a "OMG we both got sexually assaulted?? #besties!!!!"
I just hope that her kinda downplaying this whole scenario leads into some sort of drama or story development

I think she doesn’t quite understand how far the sexual harm went probably just thinking it ended with molestation like what she might’ve experienced on the train wherein for him it didn’t just end with that and he was full blown raped but his more vague way of describing it probably led to a misunderstanding but her response in the end with her friend was definitely suspicious

i'd like to think it was just a misunderstanding relating to the vagueness of the term he used.
it a somewhat common occurrence for people to mistakenly think that when someone said they were sexually abused at some point that they'll gravitate towards molestation instead of the most heinous form of sexual abuse. (it's sucks when terms like this kinda umbrella out over multiple things)

if she's really a good girl and this isn't some fake out manga it'll probably suck when she finds out.

my guess is she'll find out what really happened either from the girls from his old school who seemed to hear rumors or from his friends.
