And there it is. She really had the audacity to blame a rape victim right to their face and then act like she's been victimized by being told about it. It's simply and solely that she has not processed any of it yet.

It's scary, it's upsetting, she doesn't know what's going on in her emotions and reactions. What can she even do right now other than walk away? "He's upset > I'm the one who upset him > I'm not getting through to him > I am also confused and upset > I should leave" is an extremely reasonable train of thought for a naive child in the thick of her own confusing experience with her entire worldview crashing down around her whilst becoming the collateral damage in another person's tragedy.

This writer is extremely good at portraying these kids feelings and i have to say it's a real damn shame it's zooming over people's heads because of kneejerk reactions to nuanced emotions.

I felt like people hating Tsubasa too easily, yes what she did is wrong. But past chapters give enough context on her train of thoughts how she didn't mean it with ill intent, she even said it in this chapter there is something wrong with her thoughts. She is immature and naive. She doesn't know the weight of her words and how it affect Kaede psyche, she didn't see how traumatize Kaede was when he was raped. It makes Tsubasa more human with her flaw. I'll wait how she will grow before I judge her behavior
