She literally says shes not the victim when she says shes at fault and that she cant never erase that. Her correcting the guy because he was saying she broke up with him when it wasnt the case isnt related.
She literally avoided him an ran away when he touched her.... and then she said that he was the one that pushed her away first... are you sure we are reading the same story?

Yes, we are reading the same story, because in no moment whatsoever she said she wanted to break up with him, because she was confused during that time. She instinctively avoided his touch and because she was scared about that she run away, he went to her, she explained why that was happening and after he heard she saying some of her thoughts which offended him for obvious reasons, he said it would be better if they broke up as she cant understand him. its this that happened. this doesn't mean she isnt wrong, but at the same time it wasnt her who broke, she was still interested in being with him even if she was feeling that way.

Oh you mean the brunette pigtails girl's non-reaction?

She just stands there in the corner crying and trembling in fear, not saying anything, then leaves Tsubasa to cry alone on the roof after gal girl burns her alive

This part. Right here. This is you lying/being wrong.

He never said it would be better if they broke up. You're inventing that.

He apologizes for ever having involved her. He apologizes for ever having bothered her. He apologizes for ever thinking that he's able to date someone.

In the end, the truth is that both of them think that the other one doesn't want to be in a relationship with the other. Kaede thinks that Tsubasa doesn't want to be in a relationship based on what she both said and did (running away). Tsubasa thinks that Kaede doesn't want to be in a relationship because...he...apologized...for thinking that he was able to date someone.

I put the ellipses there on purpose to point out the issue with Tsubasa's thoughts, but so far, I have been objective and just pointed out the literal things that happened.

You are wrong when you say Kaede said they should break up.

I think saying she's right refers to Momoka saying they (herself, Asahi, and Izumi) are third parties and should not butt in.

I ultimately find it so strange that Japanese society is like that sometimes. I know it's not just Japanese society, but that's what we are seeing in this manga right now. I see something is wrong, but it doesn't involve me, so I shouldn't get involved. But also, Japanese society exerts huge amounts of societal pressure on conforming, regardless of whether something is right or wrong. In some cases, Japanese society stresses that even if something is wrong, it is more important to conform.

But that's just my tangent.

You just explained why she thinks she is the victim... She knows exactly why him and herself acted that way, and yet she thinks he was the one that pushed her away... after he opened himself to her... I don't understand why you don't see the hypocrisy there... Just because her idealistic imaginary world fell apart after hearing his story is not excuse at all...

Youre right, i misremembered that. But the way he said it basically implies they shouldn't be together because she cant understand him

She doesn't think she's a victim at all. She never even said that, the only thing she defend herself about is not breaking up with him, which is true. In this very chapter she literally says she was in the wrong for saying what she said.

She said he pushed her away, she said he rejected him so clearly.... again.... she knows EXACTLY why both of those statements are false, you said yourself she knows she is in the wrong, and yet she made those claims... she is playing the victim here....

hmm, the friend saying that MC forced the trauma on Tsubasa is false equivalency. But I think the point she's trying to make is that if you want to say Tsubasa chasing after her crush is considered her "forcing" herself into MC's life, then MC "dumping" his trauma on her is also something being "forced". I think it was the friend being pedantic, where she's trying to highlight that these things happen by chance in any relationship and that they occur and proceed without control. She is just nitpicking at the use of the word forced that MC's friend used first.

Honestly, its a bit vague and I'm a bit too stupid to understand the subtext here directly to explain it better. At the very least we can say she is in her own mind rightfully defending her friend here, although I doubt she knows the full story.

If it ever gets revealed the how and why for Tsubasa's actions, I'm sure even her friend would think twice to defend her completely lol

You're really leaning into a bias in favor of her.

At the same time as what you said, her saying/asking those things (whether it was against his will and whether it was so difficult to stop it) plus her running away after he's crying on the ground "basically implies" [to Kaede] that they shouldn't be together because she fled from him.

Kaede sees her on the street. She smacks away his hand when he reaches out to her. She then runs away. She says she's been thinking these things and then asks him if it was against his will and whether it was so difficult to stop being raped. He tells her to stop, makes his apologies, cries, and then she runs away. All of this "basically implies" to him that she thinks they shouldn't be together.

And I want to make clear that I'm just pointing out your bias for Tsubasa. In my first post, I said that both Kaede and Tsubasa think the other ended the relationship. But despite that, you are leaning into a bias in favor of Tsubasa.
