And once more, stop making shit up, unless you have a specific chapter to prove your point

Chapter 19 she straight tries to spin the blame on Kaede making it sound like he is the one imposing his story on Tsubabsa despite it being their idea to go and pry about his past

Tells you that sex-ed is important af. Parents doesn't need to somehow feel disgusted or act like it's taboo to tell kids about these things at a young age. But anw, go get her Aya!! WHOOOO :win: :win: :win:
I agree. I'm so damn glad internet already exist in my era. Sex ed is important so you don't do stupid shit.

Most of the users are praising Aya, so you won't agree with my feelings about this chapter.

Aya went too far, nobody asked her to bully Tsubasa in that way. Aya's attitude is pretty bad. It is possible to express an opinion without lecturing and shouting in the face.

Even though I don't think it'll be author's route: what if Tsubasa committed suicid3? She lost her boyfriend, she's losing her friends (Aya and the twin tail girl go away on the end) and feels totally guilty about the situation. Now she's alone in the dark crying, thinking she's abnormal (not normal). If I were Aya and Tsubasa killed herself, I'd feel responsible.

If Kaede's friends are good friends, Aya is a sincere person but definitely not a good friend.
I actually ever come to this some sort of correlation. Basically a friend just learnt that the husband of her friend cheated and asked for opinion. One actually gave a really good answer where she could be good person by telling the wife but destroyed their friendship or be a good friend by remained silent but hid the fact.

No win solution.

It HARDCORE depends on the parents. I had to give a 23 yo roomate The Talk about STDs and their effects cause he had literally zero idea what any of them are.
Yup, in Asia it's really fucking hard talking about sex-ed.
I will be a billionaire everytime 20 y/o people is clueless about sex.

Aya is truly the MVP of this manga. Fuck everyone, I don't care about Tsubasa or anyone else, Kaede should end up with Aya.

Hope that Tsubasa will mature up a little and try to understand things.
I like what you're laying down 🫡

Note that the wording in the chapter 19 page is "from my perspective", because she doesn't know the full story of what happened nor does she know a single thing about Kaede. Again, this is literally spoonfed to you in chapter 23. She's not the person who told Tsubasa to pry into Kaede's past either, as she was not made aware of anything until this chapter.
I don't see how she's "rushing the relationship" in that screencap either, as Kaede was being vague on whether he wanted to actually start dating or not and she's saying he should give a straight answer. Nor can I figure out how this has literally ANY relevance to my reply which was about how Aya was the one responsible for making Tsubasa ask about Kaede's past, and not Momoka like you're still claiming for god knows what reason.

I don't think Aya went too far, and that definitly was not bullying. What Aya did was a well delivered reality check towards Tsubasa.

And that wasn't an opinion either that was straight scolding.

I mean, think about it.
Tsubasa isn't going to learn, let alone reflect on her actions if no one is going to scold her for it. And what better way to deliver a strict life lesson than by a friend?

She didn't have to scream at Tsubasa :To be honest, she had it comming. Aya was calm at first, she only started getting angry once Tsubasa started spewing out excuses for her bad behavior. Won't you explode too if a friend started invalidating a victims feelings? Let alone a trauma she personally experienced?? Tsubasa earned that.

Tsubasa is lucky to have that kind of friend group. She has a friend who is gentle and calm (Momoka) and a friend who doen't sugarcoat in your face and keeps you in line(Aya).

Tsubasa already has her head in the clouds, babying her will only blind her more. And that will lead her to her downfall.

Also about the su1cid3 theory? That's too much of a shallow reason to happen. If mangaka commits to that, it would be horrible writing. And the main theme of this manga is a very sensitive topic and should be delivered with care.

Now I know you're being obtuse on purpose. I've explained this four times in this thread what exactly she said, and your only response is to double down without addressing anything that was said?
despite it being their idea to go and pry about his past
Momoka did not tell her to go pry about his past, she told her to confirm from him that he has serious intentions and not there to just pump-and-dump. This point was brought up to you in a direct response, but once more you're just doubling down without even trying to counter-argue

When Tsubasa started blaming her parents and her upbringing for why she has such an aversion to sexual acts and why she blamed Kaede for being raped, I realized that this isn't going to be such a short resolving to this situation. Tsubasa cannot comprehend the fact that she is responsible for the words that come out of her mouth, whether it be good or bad. That's not something you can fix by one confrontation, that's going to require her to mature. Maybe this is the start of that maturing period but it's clear to me now, the current Tsubasa won't, can't and shouldn't meet with Kaede to make amends. She does not know what she has done.
absolutely this. also, notice how she keeps turning it around to her being the victim, even after the scolding. "This is why I am suffering" yeah no, you are NOT the victim here girl
she literally separates herself from her mind in some desperate attempt to find someone else to blame. "It's not me, it's my mind!"
I'm thinking Tsubasa is deeply, deeply troubled. I almost suspect some supressed trauma in her past, it's not normal to feel like she does about sexuality (she becomes physically ill even to the point of puking).

I love Aya.
And while I don't think Tsubasa deserves to be easily forgiven, her situation sucks. She knows that what she did was horrible and disgusting, but she can't do anything to take it back. She can't go back to the past to not hurt a person she cared about. That's a pretty shitty situation to be in. Well deserved, but still really shitty. And then you have the argument of, "Is she apologizing to make herself feel better or does she want to bring closure to the one she hurt and maybe make amends?" In hindsight, I know I've hurt people I care about, and now it's been so long that it's weird/hard to bring up, so until this day, I haven't apologized and that eats you alive every time you think about the things you did or said. So I sympathize with Tsubasa, even though I know she still needs to be slapped some more until she digests what Aya told her and truly understands how much she hurt Kaede.

It's also really really REALLY amazing to see a friend(?) of her calling her out on the terrible things she did. More people should do that to their friends, so that they know it's not ok to do some things. You see your friend treating a waiter like trash? Call him out on it. If people do it enough, that person will understand that behavior is not acceptable.

i havent seen a comment about this yet, but what if what aya said to her, and her remembering kaede saying “you havent experienced it”, makes her go and try to get some experience? i dont like her dont get me wrong, but i also have a feeling in the pit of my stomach that shes going to do something REAL stupid.
