I'm really damn torn now, because I don't want to see what happens next, but I also want to see if maybe she'll come out of the other side without going through that kind of thing. She's severely traumatized in the present so I highly doubt it, but I'm hoping it's at least not from the type of shit they showed at the end there. 46 has at least been somewhat respectful with the topic of rape survivors up until now, so I hope they don't go the route of other mangaka and chalk it up to being "just how the entertainment industry is", and make it into something she has to "just get over". All I hope is that from this point on, when 46 is revealing the graphically dark history of Kanon's character, that they can treat her with the same compassion and empathy that they treated Kaede with.
