Those two had it coming. Amusingly, there was no good person/true protagonist among the 4 combatants in this fight. It's basically a 2 on 2 between two psychopathic serial killers vs one serial killer teamed up (temporarily, I guess) with an evil demon princess. MC will be off to kill the next reincarnator on his list, but I wonder where Lunatic goes from here.

I ship Lunatic and the MC.

I actually have a hilarious crack ship idea where she ships Silsil and Lunatic for the purpose of preserving Great Resonance as a way to ensure balance remains in the world after her mission is finished. Basically Lunatic gets one of the strongest possible cheat skills, but only as long as she can feel true affection, and as the new inheritor she would in future generations after Silsil passes from old age need to fall for the next great hero as her weakness, which keeps her from turning into a real villain.
Great Resonance is actually an incredible cheat skill if the author realises it! It has the potential to prevent future conflict by its activation condition
