That generation of cartoons on Cartoon Network was just some of the best ever. They put a lot of funding into making new shows and importing for Toonami of such wide varieties. Don't know the details, but I think they got bought, then venture capital style striped for value. By the end, it was just hours of Teen Titans GO (not to dismiss the show specifically, but it took up a stupid amount of daily showtime compared to everything else). The channel shutdown years ago, didn't it?

The funny part is that he's stronger like that. He's got a good head for battle, his confidence issues get in the way of him commanding. They kill the kraken with the power of mr lyle commanding an entire ship of people

For the life of me, I still can't remember Sophia from the web novel (think this is what Yoraikun translated). Thought it was the **easy and sister after Aria. Guess it could be a light novel change, but this may be a good reason to read it again. Been at least a year.

Yes, it is LN change, I think Novem didn't forcefully use sleep spell on him but she did block and bar the entire house


Edit: nvm you meant Sophia, yes she was LN addition and I like this addition as it gives Aria someone to have friendly rivalry with.

If I remember correctly while Sophia is new. In exchange alot of the unessesary filler girls were cut from the book version entirely to give the core harem more screentime. Of the 18 named wives in the web novel only 11 appear at all in the light novel, and even then only 9 of those 11 + Sophia are core cast members and love Lyle.
Leaving a harem total of 10 as of now.

I think it was implied in the written story that there's a time limit for his adventures, it's vague at first, but Novem tells Lyle when his sister is basically getting to a point where she can come after him. It's just another example of the main quest not letting itself be backburnered for too long.

Edit: almost forgot the point, he needs to get stronger while he can, because his genius sister (and parents) is deadset on killing him.

I got your answer: They didn't really. For now, he's kinda just going around towns to build up his strength and get comrades for the sake of being an adventurer. That goes on for a while until the plot resumes after
