(but Lavi saying that he was going to marry her in the future (innocently, since he was still a tiny bean at that time) was the starting point of her being a brocon (unless I'm saying some stupid thing)

And holy shit the dad is also trash. How can you listen to your child say things like that and not immediately shut it down. This is literally parenting job 1: make sure your kid has fucking empathy. Maybe he thought having a lil brother to protect would change her but what if she hadn't become enamored? What if she had killed the baby because it was weak? She literally turned out the same as she was as a child, still not giving a shit about anyone else, only now she has the added "I will abuse my little brother" mixed in.

The more I learn about his family the more amazed I am that he didn't turn out to be a shitlord like them.
