Indeed, sorcery is even considered by those in the know to be a kinda bastardized pale imitation of magic. Which is why Z tells Olivia not to use magic unless her life is in danger. As in the modern world true magic is just too OP and what not lolBut in this series, sorcery and magic are two different kind. If I remember correctly, magic = more advanced sorcery. The difference is that sorcery uses mana from the users themself, while magic doesn't only use mana from the users, but can use mana from outside/around them and more powerful. And magic is a long-forgotten technique.Yes she can (she is magic user).
Imagine telling someone that the greatest general was killed by Jesus incarnate. Would you believe it as fact?Fair enough. The girl is basically a goddess of death. No wonder people don’t believe in her
She's after the whole battalion I think? I mean they knew the MC's troops are responsible but she might not really be sure who exactly did it, as she's just getting reports from other troops, she's not there in person. It's not like Olivia's the only person fighting in the war, it's entirely possible Olivia's just a figurehead, and her exploits might be just the enemy's propaganda to instill fear on the battlefield.Whelp what little respect I had for Rosenmarie vanished. Olivia litterally marched with Osvanne's head on a pike, hell the whole reason she was after Olivia was because she killed him. And in this chapter shes only just realised Olivia killed him? This is just bad writing at this point.
One word, magic. There are hints here and there that it's not just simple physics but something else entirely. But yeah for people who want the MC to struggle, it's indeed not ideal. Why does she have superhuman strenght and stamina? Skill with the sword is one thing, but you cant overpower someone twice your weight nor should you be able to jump around in metal armour without breaking a sweat. Easily overcoming all adversity is a big minus in my view.
I know! I called it out in the previous chapter they would become amazing friends. It's just Rosemarie couldn't get over Olivia's minor, simple desecration of the man Rosemarie loved as a father figure. It's so heartwarming to see girls getting along like this😘
I believe in one of the earliest chapters she mentions how she wrecked a stove while training magic or something similar, basically it was a fireball. Thanks for the TL. Any spoilers can confirm if Olivia can use magic? I swear I remember them mentioning it before
He could have died by being mobbed by several soldiers or arrows, or any other way. Like dying in a 1v1 melee between commanders is beyond a rarity in war. It is only common here because Olivia seeks them out and doesn't really care if she is outnumbered 50 to 1 while doing so. But now she got a straight confirmation that no he didn't lose his life in any of the common ways or executed after being captured, but he got killed personally by Olivia. Rosemarie obviously didn't believe in the tall tales about Olivia up until this 1v1 either because they are frankly ridiculous so she probably didn't think a teen of no renown could 1v1 a master swordsman with many decades of experience even if he was getting old. Her surprise makes complete sense given that line of reasoning.Whelp what little respect I had for Rosenmarie vanished. Olivia litterally marched with Osvanne's head on a pike, hell the whole reason she was after Olivia was because she killed him. And in this chapter shes only just realised Olivia killed him? This is just bad writing at this point.
She was descendents of the Abyss Clan (which should be extinct), a minority race that had amazing powers from ancient times, powerful enough to overthrow a nation. Their eternal enemy was the Asura Clan. General Felix (see chapter 16) of the empire is one of the descendants of the Asura Clan. Felix will probably be the most difficult human opponent for Olivia, if that fight happened. Why does she have superhuman strenght and stamina? Skill with the sword is one thing, but you cant overpower someone twice your weight nor should you be able to jump around in metal armour without breaking a sweat. Easily overcoming all adversity is a big minus in my view.
Same that's what I would like to know as well. Thanks for the TL. Any spoilers can confirm if Olivia can use magic? I swear I remember them mentioning it before
It's more likely she's a psychopath than a sociopath since she does have empathy for her friends at the very least. It's more that her view of death is VERY different than the norm since to her she's just feeding Daddy Z.She doesn't even know she's a sociopath part V.
