The numbers of characters involved, the length of this arc and the number of wheels turning are all so massive in this arc. Feels like it'll go on for much longer still.
Now the concept of a populace living in sich a wide and long lasting empire that you have people living and dying not knpwing the world outside is interesting. Like a narrative focused on that life would be the opposite of your normal call to adventure arc.
Boooooooorrrrinnggggg is it time to drop this manga? Like this arc has been the most boring out of everything too much talking i dont remember shit... wheres the mc? Where the fan service

The late emperor had some ambitious plans in motion.
Hmmm... interesting... considering that Kai had to go around to have Suzuri take him to the coronation, and that Albion doesn't seem to have a big move in motion, it seems that Huang Lia's "best" chance is to become a protectorate of Dhala... which isnt actually a very good thing, but considering the interests set on this nation... hardly the worse one.
I mean... not like Albion isn't a supremacist state with ambition of world domination, Relasia sure isn't fond of unnecessary killings and cruelty, but she ain't stupid or gullible either... she knows how the "game" works, and there is more than one bastard in Albion that wouldn't mind to do what Dhala does... they already did when her father was in power.
So if Huang Lia falls into Dhala's hands, but not as a completely oppressed state, it would actually be a very interesting development.
.... I don't think it is the best idea from my part to write this, but... I am kinda disappointed that so many people are taking the "haha I only read this for the tits" "I don't remember anything of the story, just show boobs" jokes a little too far.
Yes, I understand... a whole month is a lot of time to keep any info in your memory, why should you respect the effort of the author in trying to craft a story, when you just want to look at boobs? Silly me for even insinuating that you should do anything else.
Ffs, seriously this arc is dragging. We are not invested in this country, only to our FMC, and honestly it's becoming more of an arms length connection. Remember the whole reason was to find her sister and we have already found out that she got BAITED. Our MC is no where to be found and probably will not make an appearance at all in this country. It's just gone on for far too long. Not to mention they are just fighting over who the next CHILD Emperor will be. It might be time to drop this until next year... and maybe this arc will be over🤦🏻♂️

I agree.
For a manga, whose main focus is the boobs, this actually has a lot of good content like plots inside of plots, interesting characters, antagonist which aren't cartoonishly evil and so on and so forth.
And yes, I blame the monthly release.
Edit: nobody2002: idiot spotted, I will keep that in mind in the next encounter.
I hate to be the one to break the news to some of you, but this breastfeeding fetish isekai manga has secretly been about geopolitics from the very beginning. That's why every single member of the harem and producer of magic milkies is a princess or some other symbol of leadership, and why the series began with the heroine summoning the MC in the middle of her country being overrun.
I do find it hilarious that some are getting bored. With seraph the end i can understand. With boruto i can understand to a lesser extent, but this??? Instead of just only showing women's bodies this story has been constantly talking and dealing with the ramifications of war and what to do to avoid it + polotics etc. Kai's gathering of a harem was a result of going through nations to get more support for his turf.
Of course, i neither can remember all the details but if setting a stage is bad if the MC isn't there, then damn. You do you. For me I like when a story doesn't just revolve around our protag and gets us to understand more overall. It's just that this monthly manga can't compete to a game that comes out and let's you witness and play at your own pace.
@Mordenheim Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't make them an idiot. I'm entitled to my opinion just as much as you are to your's. I would never denigrate you personally just because you had a different viewpoint than mine. Before engaging in ad hominems, maybe you should self reflect some. I hope you have a blessed day, friend.
To think one day we would see Sakura suggesting an alliance with Dhala as the best way to protect a country from destruction... How the tables have turned (of course, she'd probably change her tune if she knew Kai is coming soon).
While I understand and even share the criticism about the slow pacing and the increasingly confusing web of characters, I must commend the author for the efforts to translate the decadence of Qing China into a fantasy setting. Not!Cixi (the empress dowager) manipulating things to put a puppet on the throne while her officials do conspiracies of their own, anti-imperial rebels, Western colonial powers making plans to partition the empire... It feels as if the author is really enthusiastic about this bit of history, right? (perhaps too enthusiastic) Still, there are enough deviations and fantasy elements to make it unique.
