The fact they just so readily jump to executing people who basically saved their own asses from an internal betrayal as scapegoats to people who don't even mean anything means I really hope they get to suffer and have their asses kicked. Especially considering Kasasagi and Yodaka are both high level assets, even from a pragmatic standpoint this is heinously stupid. Yodaka alone could probably wipe out all the dissenters if he was given a mission to do so, so the fact they'd even consider executing him is idiotic. I know this is your standard 'lineage above all' trope, but it's still irritating.
It's not like they took down Uzen for other reasons and only happened to discover they were working with the enemy. They went after them because they were working for the enemy.
And that said, where the fuck is op 9? They're the coordinator, the leader, the authority. Why the fuck are Yodaka and Kasasagi being blamed? If it was at least presented that it was Kasasagi being blamed because she was part of the betrayal to begin with and only changed her mind later on, that would be one thing, but no one seems to care about that.
It's such bullshit-level forced drama that it almost feels like bad writing. Reminds me of the Naruto plotline with the Hyuuga where, for some asinine reason, the leaf felt they had to appease a hostile enemy faction who used false pretenses of a peace treaty in a war the leaf were dominating in order to try and kidnap the heir of the leaf's most powerful and prestigious clan. The clan head discovers it and kills the attempted abductors and... They demand his head in return? And the leaf fucking AGREES? (Sure they switch him with his twin brother but that's insane. It's dumb bullshit purely to set up Neji's history.)
