nice emotional chapter. That said, I honestly like where the web novel goes from here more. This coming section is a little more happy go lucky in that version.
A lot of the focus is on Keigo training is, as he puts it, 'combat wife' and her taking to making and fighting with grenades and her slingshot. It also gave him a chance to understand a little more about how the world operates. Finding out the point system the guild uses is just to make it so adventures can learn without needing to pay, that he could just pay the guild or anyone that knows it to learn a skill from them, or just do it on his own if he could figure out the flow of fighting spirit or mana. By comparison, what's coming in this version is kinda dark.

It’s amazing how the author created a story about someone who struggles with bonds to other people and yet created such amazing friends and family

Well as far as I can see the noble is more or less orchestrating his own downfall, a lot of the moves he has done against Keigo can easily be traced back to him,
solicitating with and hiring criminals to harass his subjects, using soldiers (that I surmise are on "loan" from his king) as his own personal thugs, everything can be traced back to him, since the thing is that soldiers and thugs talk A LOT, so not the best people to hire when you are trying to do covert and dirty ops.
Then we have the fact that his actions directly resulted in chasing away a seemingly unique artificer who could produce rare enchanted items with ease as well as powerful alchemical concoctions, something that should greatly hit the region's economy, especially if Keigo ends up settling in a rival lord's city.
All in all he is doomed and has no one to blame but his own greedy self.
